By purchasing, downloading, or using our digital products (including CALM & CONTROL™ and related materials), you agree to these Terms in full.

If you do not agree, do not use our website and do not purchase our products.

2. Digital Products

CalmRider™ provides digital safety and training resources for horse owners and handlers, including (but not limited to):

• Groundwork protocols (e.g. CALM & CONTROL™ 14-Day Groundwork Protocol)

• Daily training checklists and printable action sheets

• Barn safety cards and emergency response cards

• Body language / stress signal reference sheets

• Confidence and handling support materials

• Tracking and progress tools

Important:

• No physical items are shipped.

• All products are delivered digitally via download page and/or email after successful payment.

• Files are provided in standard formats such as .pdf, .zip, .png, or similar formats that can be opened on most devices.

You are responsible for ensuring you can open standard PDF files.

3. License of Use

When you purchase from CalmRider™, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to access and use the materials you bought.

Personal Use License (default):

• You may print and use the protocol, worksheets, safety cards, and reference material for your own horse and personal handling.

• You may bring printed copies to your barn, stable, or boarding facility for your own use.

You MAY NOT:

• Share, forward, or redistribute the digital files to other people (trainers, barn friends, social media, etc.).

• Resell, upload, post publicly, or include our materials in any paid program, clinic, or lesson you deliver.

• Edit or re-brand our materials and present them as your own work.

• Reproduce, publish, or license any CalmRider™ content (text, structure, safety language, or layout) without written permission.

Commercial/teaching use:

These products are not licensed for professional resale, professional lesson programs, clinics, or training services unless you have obtained prior written authorization from CalmRider™.

We actively protect and enforce our intellectual property.

4. Pricing and Payments

• All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated.

• Payments are processed securely via trusted third-party payment providers (for example: Stripe, PayPal, Shopify, ThriveCart, Gumroad, or equivalent).

• By completing a purchase, you authorize CalmRider™ (and/or its payment processor) to charge your selected payment method.

We reserve the right to change pricing, offer discounts, run promotions, or discontinue any offer at any time.

5. Delivery of Files

After successful payment, you will typically receive:

• Immediate on-screen access or a download link.

• A confirmation email with access instructions and/or download links to your digital materials.

If you experience download issues or do not receive your access email, you must contact us within 7 days at:

We will assist with re-sending access if the purchase is verified.

6. Refund Policy

Because our products are digital and become accessible immediately after purchase, all sales are final.

Refunds may be considered only if:

• The file is corrupted or unusable, and we are unable to provide a working version; or

• There is a verified technical delivery issue on our side and we cannot deliver your purchase.

We do not issue refunds for:

• “I changed my mind.”

• “I decided I don’t need it anymore.”

• “I thought this was a physical product.”

• Failure to download within the 7-day support window.

Any satisfaction or “risk-free” guarantees mentioned in marketing materials apply only as explicitly stated and may require proof of use.

7. Safety Disclaimer

CalmRider™ provides educational safety resources for groundwork and handling on the lead.

We are not providing veterinary advice, medical advice, emergency response services, or in-person trainer supervision.

Working with horses is inherently risky.

You are responsible for your decisions, your safety, your horse’s behavior, and staying within your skill level.

By purchasing our materials, you acknowledge and agree:

• You will stop immediately if you feel unsafe.

• You will not attempt any exercise that is beyond your ability or comfort.

• You will seek professional, in-person help when needed.

CalmRider™ is not liable for how you apply the information.

8. Intellectual Property

All product content — including protocols, scripts, phrasing, drills, step-by-step handling language, safety cards, worksheets, trackers, page layouts, brand voice, brand name, and visual presentation — is the exclusive intellectual property of CalmRider™.

You agree that:

• You are purchasing access to use the content, not ownership of the content.

• You may not copy, resell, reproduce, publicly post, or distribute our materials (digital or printed) to others.

• You may not claim our techniques, safety language, or structure as your own training system.

• You will not upload CalmRider™ content to forums, barn groups, Facebook groups, or resale marketplaces.

Any unauthorized copying, redistribution, or resale is a violation of these Terms and may result in legal action.

9. No Guarantee of Specific Results

Every horse is different.

Every human handler is different.

Barn environments, turnout situations, and stress triggers vary.

We do not guarantee:

• That your horse will immediately stop rushing, dragging, crowding, or freezing.

• That you will never experience fear, tension, or unsafe behavior again.

• That following the protocol will prevent all accidents or injuries.

Our materials aim to improve clarity, calm communication, and safer handling habits.

They are not a substitute for in-person professional guidance.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• CalmRider™ shall not be liable for any injury, accident, incident, loss, or damage (direct or indirect) arising from the use or misuse of our products, including any groundwork protocol, handling script, safety card, or barn signage.

• CalmRider™ shall not be liable for issues related to device compatibility, printing quality, or inability to open files.

• Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the original purchase price paid for the product in question.

By purchasing and using our materials, you agree to assume full responsibility for your actions around horses.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy.

Any dispute, claim, or legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms, our products, or our website shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Naples, Italy.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder will continue in full force and effect.
